I have three 1,500 word essays due next Tuesday, which I SHOULD be doing right now.
I haven't yet finished watching Bleach: The DiamondDust Rebellion, which is what I WANT to be doing right now
I'm in a kind of creative mood at the moment, and want to customise a Blythe, but I don't have the materials (yet)
I have to help a friend tomorrow on her Movie project, in which I'm (technically) one of the stars. Thankfully though, I've only got one line, which consists of "Hey guys, what are you doing?" (or something like that)
and... I'm actually kinda tired.

Hmmm. I read somewhere that to make yourself feel better you should change your 'have's' to 'want's'. So that would mean I should be saying:

I WANT to do the three 1,500 word essays due next Tuesday...

Seems kinda wierd actually.

I dunno... and his waist looks funny too... *sigh*

XD NanaoxShunsui SO CUTE!

I really should be doing work...

The Six Truth's of Life

HAHA I got this in an email aaaaages ago, so I thought I might put it up here :D

6 Truth's of Life...

1. You cannot touch all your teeth with your tongue.

2. All idiots, after reading the first truth try it.

3. The first truth is a lie.

4. You're smiling now because you're an idiot.

5. You will soon forward this to another idiot.

6. There's still a stupid smile on your face.

And yes, I did do this the first time I read it... so that must make me an idiot LOL

Dark Knight

I went to the Drive In Saturday night, and saw 2 movies (for only $11.50!!!!!).The first we saw was Dark Knight (OMG!!!!! ONLY THE BEST MOVIE I'VE SEEN IN YEARS!!!!! I want to see it again!) *cough* as I was saying... and The X-Files... yeah, bit disappointing (personally I thought there'd be more of a supernatural element to it... but yeah)

Tracy and I pre-ordered Breaking Dawn together, and she just dropped it off (I was at Tafe so I couldn't pick it up :() But I finished at 8:30, I've got some homework to do that's due tomorrow, and tomorrow I start at 9... something tells me that I won't be reading much (If I'm lucky I may be able to start it, but the best I can do is sit down and read it this Wednesday (at the earliest))

(<<< how cool is that, I even got a badge)

Speaking of getting things, my Taeyang Lead is on his way, as is my CoCo doll and Coco Dal lol and I got a new bag yesterday!!!!

In class today our subject of the day was Personality, and part of the homework was for us to take a personality test. I found out I am an ISFJ (all three sites I went to told me so)

The description that the first site gave me was my favourite, mainly because it's like they've described me personally!!! It was freakily accurate.

Here's what they say about me :) (I'm a Protector!!)

Guardian™ Portrait of the Protector (ISFJ)

We are lucky that Protectors make up as much as ten percent the population, because their primary interest is in the safety and security of those they care about - their family, their circle of friends, their students, their patients, their boss, their fellow-workers, or their employees. Protectors have an extraordinary sense of loyalty and responsibility in their makeup, and seem fulfilled in the degree they can shield others from the dirt and dangers of the world. Speculating and experimenting do not intrigue Protectors, who prefer to make do with time-honored and time-tested products and procedures rather than change to new. At work Protectors are seldom happy in situations where the rules are constantly changing, or where long-established ways of doing things are not respected. For their part, Protectors value tradition, both in the culture and in their family. Protectors believe deeply in the stability of social ranking conferred by birth, titles, offices, and credentials. And they cherish family history and enjoy caring for family property, from houses to heirlooms.

Wanting to be of service to others, Protectors find great satisfaction in assisting the downtrodden, and can deal with disability and neediness in others better than any other type. They are not as outgoing and talkative as the Provider Guardians [ESFJs], and their shyness is often misjudged as stiffness, even coldness, when in truth Protectors are warm-hearted and sympathetic, giving happily of themselves to those in need.

Their reserve ought really to be seen as an expression of their sincerity and seriousness of purpose. The most diligent of all the types, Protectors are willing to work long, hard hours quietly doing all the thankless jobs that others manage to avoid. Protectors are quite happy working alone; in fact, in positions of authority they may try to do everything themselves rather than direct others to get the job done. Thoroughness and frugality are also virtues for them. When Protectors undertake a task, they will complete it if humanly possible. They also know better than any other type the value of a dollar, and they abhor the squandering or misuse of money. To save, to put something aside against an unpredictable future, to prepare for emergencies-these are actions near and dear to the Protector's heart. For all these reasons, Protectors are frequently overworked, just as they are frequently misunderstood and undervalued. Their contributions, and also their economies, are often taken for granted, and they rarely get the gratitude they deserve.

And jobs best suited to me are:

ISFJ - Interior decorators, designers, nurses, administrators, managers, secretaries, child care/early childhood development, social work, counselers, paralegals, clergy, office managers, shopkeepers, bookkeepers, homemakers, gardeners, clerical supervisors, curators, family practice physicians, health service workers, librarians(<<<that's what I'm studying to be!!!!), medical technologists, typists. Tradition-oriented and down-to-earth, they do best in jobs where they can help people achieve their goals, or where structure is needed.

The last Guardian type is the Protector (ISFJ). This is the Guardian least likely to seek positions of leadership since they may feel uncomfortable in the lime-light. They are often seen as the people who do whatever is necessary to keep things running smoothly. They do their best to prevent problems. Like the Provider, they can be attracted to fields in medicine, education or social service. In business, positions that combine some type of social interface with time alone are best for them. If they choose technical positions, they prefer ones with at least some independence, such as electrician, or photographer. Says Patrick, “I was attracted to portrait photography because I am able to help people look their best and celebrate significant times in their lives. I take time to create the best portrait I can.”

AH HAH! Almost forgot. I finally got around to changing my mood themes to a customized theme :D :D :D *dreamy look* North & South *cough*mrthornton*cough* and I decided while I was at it to change my actual journal theme to a nicer one. This is a trial one (there are so many I like hehe)

Well, off to finish homework, and possibly start reading!

Ok, feeling a bit better

Just after making that last post I started reading an article from a UK newspaper (I think) called Daily Mail (I think). I thought this part at the end was hilarious:

What Debrett?s could teach men about the female mind - By ALLISON PEARSON

Debrett's has launched a guide to Etiquette For Girls, offering women tips on such delicate matters as how to behave after a one-night stand.

But what about women's etiquette explained for men?

Don't those poor bewildered gents deserve at least a degree course to help them cope with the complexities of feminine behaviour? Here's my suggested curriculum:

YEAR ONE

ENGLISH: Women's Words And How To Decode Them: Why, when she says she's 'fine', she doesn't mean it.

MATHS: Analysis Of The Female Use Of 'I'll just be five minutes'. For a woman, this ranges from ten minutes to two hours. At least.

PHYSICS: The Washing Machine: An introduction.

HISTORY: Why She Does Not Want To Meet Your Ex. Or talk about the great holiday you had with Gill in Phuket.

SOCIOLOGY: Parenting: It Doesn't End With Conception.

YEAR TWO

BIOLOGY: Pre-Menstrual Tension: Keeping Your Mouth Shut And Other Survival Techniques.

ECONOMICS: What Was Yours Is Now Hers.

IT: The Remote Control: Breaking your dependency.

PSYCHOLOGY: Present Giving: Why saucepans are NEVER acceptable.

BOTANY: Reasons To Send Her Flowers. Why this always works!

MATHS: Advanced Problem Solving/Calculus: Remembering birthdays and anniversaries: you can do it!

YEAR THREE

DRAMA: Learning How Not To Interrupt Soliloquies.

ADVANCED BIOLOGY: Staying Awake After Sex.

GEOGRAPHY: Introduction To Globalisation: How to book a foreign holiday.

DOMESTIC POLITICS: Conflict Resolution: Why she does not want to spend Christmas with your bonkers family.

INTERNATIONAL LAW: The War On Terror: Coping with two kids under five alone without violating the Geneva Convention.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/columnists/article-408396/Forget-barricades-kitchen.html

HAHA I thought it was hilarious :) And it made me feel better so... bonus!

Winter

I love winter, well the cold really, but I've found the downside to winter is that it makes me kinda depressed, and very tired.

I decided to change the theme for my journal in the hopes it'd make me feel better... but it didn't work as well as I'd hoped.

I've also come to the conclusion that there are very few people, outside of my family, that I can trust anymore, after learning that a supposed friend from high school wasn't as much as a friend as I'd thought, and whom is determined to ruin everyone's lives around her. She's a bitch to her ex, who does nothing to stop it, and who actually defends her by saying that 'she's a good person in side... really'; she's using my other friend, who knows this but isn't doing anything to stop it; she's trying to break up the friendship between her ex and his best friend from childhood (she's 'messed' around with her ex's best friend after they broke up -.- and then told her ex)

I since found out that he (the BF) likes/d me, but I, being the unsure constant doubter that I am, don't think that I like him in that way, and had been planning on telling him that I'd rather remain friends until I was sure on how I felt (I got that piece of advice from a friend from Tafe. A piece of advice which I will treasure dearly because it suited me very well, exactly how I felt). I made the mistake of mentioning my doubts to one friend who then mentioned it to the other ex-friend who then told him, quite happily I must say. I haven't spoken to him since, I haven't spoken to her for about a month (my friend told me that she told her that she doesn't want the BF, but she doesn't want anyone else to have him -.-)

So in conclusion: I feel completely depressed and want to cry, my ex-friend treats everyone around her like shit AND (this bugs me to high heaven) everyone around her just takes it. Her ex is depressed, but is still hanging out with her (she keeps telling him things like 'piss off', 'I hate you', 'I don't want to hang out ever again' etc but she's the one who calls him up for 'booty call') and I think I still like a guy I liked in high school, and whom I haven't seen since high school (nearly 2 years now) If anyone can give me advice regarding that last piece, I'd be greatly appreciative. Nothing seems to help with that.

(This whole post doesn't sound as I wanted it to sound, but I can't seem to think of a way to explain everything properly. Maybe I'll spend some time later doing it properly?)

Damn, I just need a day with some sunshine, and some close friends around. A day of fun.

Really, is that so much to ask?

1. I'm on holidays! Yay!!! Well, technically I've been on holidays since last Thursday night.

2. I'm bored. Bored out of my brains! In a flash of inspiration I wrote a list of stuff to do if bored up on my white board (which I basically use to list my assignments/homework and their due dates) Stuff like: Clean room (while that's likely to happen anyway, propaply not while I'm in my current mood) Read that large back-log of books (again, don't really feel like reading)

3. I've decided what, or who, I'm going to get next (though this may change depending on my mood) I've decided to get the Taeyang Lead!!!

4. I'm thinking about uploading my old photo's I took from things like formal and last day of school up on my flickr... I'm going to need that pro account sooner than I thought I think :D

5. The Blythe meet is coming up this Sunday!
I love my Daddy!

Now I'm not one to call my Dad Daddy, and I doubt I'd ever say it to his face, but I'm just so happy!

I've made two posts now about how I'd missed getting my new HaHa sooner though unforeseen circumstances, the last being that my Dad wouldn't drop me off up at the Post Office to pick up my HaHa, so I went off to Tafe... in a bit of a temper :(

I really should have seen this coming!

I got home around 7:30, just before my mum and brother returned from a driving lesson.Nothing was out of the ordinary. Until mum went into her room, and found a 'mysterious' box on the dressing table stool.

YES!!!! It was my HaHa! Dad had actually gone up to the PO to get her!!!!!

I've already taken heaps of photo's! lol I'll upload some soon!

Tawww! I love my Daddy! :D

Double bummer...

What I feared would happen, happened.

This morning I woke up early to catch the post (and fell right back to sleep) but when I did eventually get up and dressed and go outside to check the mail, I found it.

The "Postal Article to be collected" slip.

Everything just seems to be working against me. (Also, they spelt my name wrong...)

It says that I must pick my article up after 3:15 pm, which is exactly the time I need to leave for Tafe. I mean, surely they won't mind if I got there early to get her?

But how would I get to the PO? My Dad's having a tad too much fun at my expense and is refusing to drive me (though I'm hoping that he will in the end) I could bus it up, but then I'd be pushing it to get to tafe in time (unless I get to the PO early) I mean, it's not that big a deal, getting to Tafe a bit later, but I'd prefer to get there on time.

My next resort was to get my mum to get her when she gets home, but I just found out she won't be home until 5! And that's just a bit too late.

I could wait until tomorrow but... nah!

Oh well, we'll see. But I can say now that I'm definately not going to the pool today.

I did it!

I DID IT!!!

It took me awhile (ok, like 2 or 3 days, but for me that's awhile) but I finally made the hard decision that was choosing which Blythe I wanted to get :P

After much consideration, and advice from many friends (some of whom didn't really give a shit) I decided to get...

Happy Harbour!!!

hehe it had been a hard decision, but she's quite a little cutie, so hopefully I'll like her as much in person as... uh, in picture?

Here are some pictures I grabbed (They're the official promo pics that were released earlier this year)

I love the fact that she has completely different eye colours!!!

Her clothes are so cute as well!!!

Grrrr

I can't believe how hard it is to make one simple decision!!!

Decision? you ask, what decision?

Well it's a very, very important decision.

I can't decide what Blythe to get next :(

My choices: (in the hope that this may help me decide)
1. Birdie Blue - I LOVE her, but I kinda want her to be a christmas present, because then that will make her special...
2. Disco Boogie - I'd also love to get her, and I would, but the only one I can find on ebay is... quite a bit more than I want to pay :(
3. Star Dancer - Birthday present... next year...
4. Happy Harbour - I can't decide about her. I already have Felicity who has a short bob type hair, so I'm not sure if I want to add another. Plus she has a fringe and I decided aaages ago that the next one I get will not have a fringe.
5. V-Smash - Basically same goes here. I already have two redheads, I don't need another... well, not yet at least
6. Cloud 9 Bowl - same as V-Smash
7. Rosie Red Encore - I love her, but something about her hair bugs me, but I'm not sure what
8. Samedi Marche Encore - Another I'd love to get, but cost is a major problem

I'll put some pic's of them up later, but for now, must dash!

YESSSS!

I'm soooo happy! and relieved! hehe

Those ebay purchases I mentioned earlier? They arrived!!! and extremely fast I must say. I ordered them last Wednesday and they arrived the following Tuesday.

Here's a pic of what I got! It's from the actual ebay listing, so I hope it's okay that I borrowed it!

I've listened to Bleach the Best, and both Beat Collections so far, and I LOVE them! Even though I can't understand them :P Maybe I can use it as an incentive to re-learn Japanese late down the track?

And speaking of ebay, I've been considering over the past few weeks to get one of those Bleach Art books. There are two sellers that I can find that sell the ones I want, and one even has an art book from Final Fantasy I wouldn't mind getting (okay, slight under-exageration there. I'd LOVE to get it! It's a complete Final Fantasy art book, a type of Bible for Final Fantasy, and 428 PAGES!!! *drool*)

Er, anyway, the point is that I went back today to have a look at one seller in particular (the other sellar has rather low feedback, so I'm a bit wary of buying off there. And yes, this time I did actually check the feedback :P) I should point out the last time I was on the net was Tuesday morning. But I went back today... and they were gone... completely!

I mean, I guess in a way it's a good thing I didn't get the books, but still! It seemed so sudden... I really wanted those books :(

Well, that makes up my mind, I guess I'll either go for the lower feedback seller or just get something else I was looking at *cough*bleachboxset*cough* or maybe a Blythe... or something Final Fantasy... gosh, so many choices!

Ebay

I love ebay! Mainly because you can get stuff off there that are usually more expensive if yoi buy them from the shop near you, or you can even get stuff that you couldn't otherwise get...

But with great things come bad things. What if what you brought gets lost in the mail, or what if (and this is even worse) you get ripped off!?!?!? The wait is the best bit really, because there's all that nervous excitement then you recieve your package and it's like YAY!!!!!

But I just brought a bunch of Bleach CD's off Ebay, and I made the mistake of not paying close attention to the user feedback, and read it after I'd confirmed the buy! It was mostly good feedback, don't get me wrong! But what bad feedback this shop had was reeeeally bad! I really want these CD's and I can't wait to get them, but the worry is still there :( I hopenothing goes wrong and this worry is for nothing...

*sigh* Oh well, I may as well try and focus on the two assignments I have due in the next few days... *cough*yeahright*cough*

Rain Rain, Go Away

... that is unless I'm INSIDE and WARM!

Twice in the past two day's I've been soaked/as close to soaked as possible.

Friday I was heading to volunteering with Sonja and about half way there (it's about a 20 min walk) it starts pelting down with rain, getting harder the closer we got to the Library. My jeans were soaked up to my knees :S We had to complete our volunteering for the day with no shoes or socks on (my toes weren't very happy with me) The worst part was that I'd organised earlier this week to go shopping after :( So I went shopping with partially dry jeans (on the plus side I got chocolate!)

I also got Volume 9 and 10 of Bleach! and some perfume (some really nice smelling perfume that we think smells like a cross between vanilla and floral)

Last night was the second time I got soaked. Last year we had some really bad storms and my friend said they went to the beach and saw the waved destroying the jetty! and I was like 'aw man, I wish I'd seen that...' so we went down there last night, but the waves were pathetically low... at first. We walked out on the jetty, neared the end, when it began raining, getting harder and harder, so we decided to turn back. By the time we reached the shelter of the kiosk we were all soaked.

Gary also tried to throw me over the edge of the jetty twice!

On the topic of procrastination, lately I've left like playing a number of PlayStation 1 and 2 games.

1) Final Fantasy xii - I actually had plans on finishing this game during the Christmas holidays, but I didn't feel like playing it then.

2) Final Fantasy 1 and 2 - I got these... sometime during the heatwave in March (I think) and I never got very far, because I kept getting distracted, but I fell head over heels for these two games, crap graphics and all :D

4) Final Fantasy viii and ix - I always reach the half way mark in these two games, then suddenly decide, for whatever reasons, that I should/must start again... another goal in life: finish Final Fantasy games!

5) Alone in the Dark - even though this game doesn't have analogue control,I still LOVE this game

I've also felt like watching/reading Bleach lately, but I must keep Birdie Blue in mind! *chants* End of June. End of June... But surely another week won't hurt, and I can get two more Bleach Manga's... hrm, may just have to consider that...

Update... type thing

1) I had a great day yesterday! It started off a bit boring, mainly because I had to go into Tafe, but picked up after about an hour because me and Tracy organised to meet up with some friends at their Uni (which I'd only been to one or twice before) so that was cool.

When we left we eventually left the uni, where we found nearly everyone doing a great job of procrastinating, we dragged Ness's friend Tyson along up to the Mall for some tea, shopped around for a bit, to Tyson's embarassment, then we "followed' him to his footy umpiring practice, where he claimed to the other guys there that we were Marek's entourage, not his :D While they practiced the three us us ended up having a very indepth conversation about all sorts of "girly" stuff (boyfriends etc) that none of us had talked to anyone else about before because no one seemed interested.

We left when their practive finished, while they were all off doing "umpiring stuff", and we decided that a) we're going to rent December Boys and b) buy some food to enjoy during the movie. We ended up buying quite a bit more than expected. Just after we'd got the movie Marek sent us, what I thought was the funniest message:

"Haha they got me 2 stand up in front of the whole group n gave me a round of applause for havin "no less than three girls" as my entourage :-P damn tyson haha"

LMAO! I don't know why, but that just kills me every time I read it! We're even considering having some t-shirts made to "support them an their short-shorts" and turn up wearing them next time.

The movie, December Boys, was ... okay-ish. It wasn't something I usually go for, and it was a bit slow at times, kinda bitter-sweet in a way, but on the whole it was better than I was expecting (I may be an Aussie, but I'm not really one for Aussie made movies)

The night ended with some plans made for the end of the week and some more talking/advice.

Overall a good night!

2) On another note... at the end of June I'm hopefully going to get another Blythe!!! *sigh* she's around the $150 mark, and I don't have a job, so it's going to take awhile, but *crosses fingers* She's a Birdie Blue, and apart from her blush I already love her to bits.

3) There's less than three weeks until I have a draft of a major assignment due for one of my classes, aaaaaand... well I can't say I haven't started, because I have, but I just haven't continued since I did start :S I really should do it, but the topic's so boring I can't be bothered!

4) During the Christmas holidays I started writing a Harry Potter fanfiction (because I was just sooooo bored) at one point someone reviewed saying my story reminded her of "some book she called Twilight. I had no idea what she was talking about, the only thing that came to me with the word Twilight in it was The Twilight Zone, and I was sure that was a TV series. So I did some digging and lo-and-behold found out what it actually was about. I thought it sounded great so as soon as possible I went out and got all three books (I first went to Dymocks but they only had book two, so in the hope that Borders had all of them I went up the street and found that they only had books one and three, but in the end I managed to get all three, from both stores, both people who served me gushing about how great these books were) Anyway, so then I "gushed" to my friends all about them and they all thought it sounded good, so on a small shopping trip I convinced Lora to get book one, Marie getting a copy as well. Lora loved it! Marie didn't (she said she hated Edward, because he's too perfect) Lora has since got book two, and read book three. I finally got around to lending book one to my friend Tracy and she also loved it! and ended up borrowing the other two books off me! The point of this loooong rant though, is that because of how mych we, and another friend Chantelle, gushed about this book Vanessa' decided to get it friday, to see what all the fuss is about, and we're all already planning on seeing the movie later, when it comes out!!!

5) I'm going to my first "clothes swap" in the coming weeks :D Not that I have many clothes to actually swap, but it should be fun anyway. Ness' planning it, and trying to convince Matt, Marek and Tyson to come along too... we shall see.

Wow, long post! But I think thats about all. Now: off to do some more procrastinating!
